Wok in Wellesley

Amy the owner is beyond pleasant, very fresh, high quality, not oily, 5 star service. Trust me this place is worthy of the business very honorable service. Spotless clean, owner is quite cheerful. It’s remarkable the hand rolls especially and Chinese. Both take out and grub hub delivery equally pleasant:) try it you will not be disappointed.

The food here is consistently good & you can have a cocktail whilst you wait for your takeaway order to be made.

Good but more food when you order take out

This is not really a review, its been fabulous. I went to pick up take out last evening and the owner told me they are retiring after 40 years. So sad. But I was told new people will be taking over. Boy, they have big shoes to fill. Don't know if the name will change.

This place is amazing. The owners were out and about mingling with the clients. They knew many by first name. The food was standard American Chinese, but it was the best I have ever had. I go to Boston a lot for work and I will come here at least once per visit. Their mai tai was great! Sit at their "bar" if you can. You'll have great conversation.

Recently remodeled, super fresh food and friendly staff

Service is not nice.. I don’t understand why the table cloth was removed before I dine in. Everyone else has got it and whomever came after me got the nice table cloth.. it’s rude..

The staff are very friendly, and the food is standard American-style Chinese cuisine. The Wok is an old favorite with my family, we come here time and time again anytime we are craving some good Chinese takeout. They have a pretty wide selection as well.

This restaurant is absolutely one of the tastiest place to eat in the region. Every time I come to this place I am remarkably glad. They maintain their very high level service and the highest level of meals they offer. You surely will enjoy this this place. Warmly recommended.

Favorite (Americanized) Chinese food around! Well priced compared to some other places in the area. They have all the classics and they're all delicious.

Best healthy Chinese food I've ever had.

We frequent this restaurant often. The owners are very very nice people the service is very good. The food on our last visit was not as great as it usually is but it could have been an off day.

Food was subpar, lemon in my drink was brown with dry curled edges. Even my fortune cookie didn't live up..."your fortune is in another cookie"

The food is delicious. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff, Cindy and Amy. We ordered a few different things. The crab Rangoon’s are a must. The tea is wonderful, it’s matcha. I will definitely be coming back and bring my friends. You will be happy if you come here!

They have the best affordable lunches I have ever had in this area. Since the renovation, this place has become number one on my list. Go out and enjoy it.

The name is very confusing. There are too many Woks so please make a specifier verb like fun wok or happy wok or good wok. The food is good though!

This is a lit place to have scorpion bowls and a quick decent meal. It’s a good time and you can spend with your fam. Only issue that we had was the waitress kept trying to get us to leave before they even closed.

This review appears to be different than other ones posted for this restaurant. We just ordered take-out tonight, making it our second time trying this restaurant--and the food once again was not very good. The meat was tough, the shrimp over cooked and tough and the steamed dumplings were totally dried out. How can steamed anything be dried out, unless you have it standing around --or reheated it from the day before? The people who run the restaurant are very pleasant. But unfortunately, our experience with their food has not been good.

I've been coming to this restaurant since before I could walk and my parents were going before that. The food is great and the service is very competent.The Wok is one of those places that makes everyone into a regular. You can order pretty much anything with the knowledge that it will be good.Especially worth your time:1. Peking dumplings2. Scallion pancake3. Crispy spicy chicken/shrimp4. Two sided yellow noodle5. Family style tofu

The place offers a large range of fresh food. I enjoy dining here. The employees are always very nice, pricing is convenient and the spot is always clean.

The food is really good for lunch and it is very affordable. I work near here and they have a parking lot which has not been full yet, which is a plus for restaurants in this area. The staff are nice and they are very quick if you are in a hurry.
